ST. PAUL, Minn. Nice Ride Minnesota plans add 30 new bicycle rental stations to its fleet this summer.
Most of the new stations will be in downtown St. Paul. Many of the new stations will be online by June 2, the start of Twin Cities Bike Walk Week.
The neon-green bikes debuted in Minneapolis in 2010. The program offers users a transportation option tailored to quick trips. Riders check out a bike at a kiosk, ride it to another station and leave it there.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports after the expansion, the total number of Nice Ride stations in Minneapolis and St. Paul will number 146, with 1,328 bikes in the fleet.
The Dodgers have placed outfielder Matt Kemp on the 15-day disabled list as he rests a strained left hamstring, recalling Jerry Sands from Class AAA Albuquerque to fill a roster spot.
Prior to sitting out Monday, Kemp had played a Major League-high 399 consecutive games. He last missed a contest on Aug. 18 of 2009, according to the Dodgers’ official Twitter account.
Andre Ethier picked up the slack in Kemp’s first game away, hitting a home run as the Dodgers defeated the Diamondbacks, 3-1, with Clayton Kershaw on the hill.

St. Paul, Minn. Three members of the 2011 WNBA championship-winning Lynx basketball team have been selected for the 2012 U.S. Women’s Olympic Team.
U.S.A. basketball has tapped Lynx guard Seimone Augustus, forward Maya Moore and guard Lindsay Whalen, a Minnesota native.
Augustus was part of the U.S. Olympic Team that won a gold medal in Beijing in 2008. This will be the first Olympic games for Moore and Whalen. Both were on the gold medal-winning 2010 U.S.A. World Championship team.
This is the fourth time in a row that a Lynx player has been on the Team U.S.A. The women’s basketball team is seeking its fifth-consecutive and seventh overall gold medal at the Summer Games in London.
